This is a paper moodlamp I made a few years ago. I used Photoshop to turn photos into black and white. The edited photos were arranged and then printed on glossy paper before being folded into shape.

Glossy paper was used because with the black ink it was opaque.

If you look carefully then you’ll notice that when it is turned off there is no design on top but when the LED is switched on a design appears.

I got the 3-colour random LED from a cheap toy at a Pound shop.

I’ll upload a video soon that shows the nice effect of the LED changing colour.
