Tegan Rolling Ball Sculpture
I made this one for a friend’s birthday. I think it is the best small, metal, rolling ball sculpture I’ve made so far. All the joints were carefully sanded to remove flux from the soldering process. The diameter of the balls is 13/16″.
I took photos throughout the construction so it’s well documented. The photos should show how I go about making small rolling ball sculptures; starting with a frame and then adding track from the bottom to the top.
I finished this one by bending wire to form her name – “Tegan”. It now lives in Wales.
